The results of some experiments with medium-format film cameras. The first four were shot using available light on a Rolleiflex Automat 6×6, the latter using a speedlight on a Mamiya C330. I’m trying to get away from the rigidity of earlier pictures in the series, while I’m also interested in the different ways of seeing engendered by SLR, phone cameras and hip-level film cameras, i.e. the position of the camera/viewfinder in relation to the photographer.
And what a lot of time and energy was expended on them as I struggle to bring the project into harbour! Comments would be most welcome, people!
This week also brought with it a working title – Nothing Left to Lose: The Matriculation and Manumission of the Privileged Few.
